The Delegation of French Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie, Université de Lorraine -ENSG Visited School of Geosciences

On October 29, 2018, the delegation of French Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie, Université de Lorraine -ENSG visited School of Geosciences to discuss international cooperation and joint programs for student education. The members of delegation are Dr. Antoine Le Solleuz, director of international relations in ENSG and an associate professor in Geosciences, Dr. Long Cheng, an associate professor in Mechanics. Dr. Yangwen Pei, vice-dean of School of Geosciences, Dr. Kaifei He, director of International Affairs Office, Dr. Jian Wang, vice-director of Department of Geology, Dr. Xianguo Zhang, vice-director of Department of Petroleum Geology attended the meeting and discussion.


During the meeting, firstly, Dr. Yangwen Pei introduced the key figures of the School of Geosciences. And then, Dr. Jian Wang and Dr. Xianguo Zhang introduced the details of the Department of Geology and Petroleum Geology, respectively. Dr. Antoine Le Solleuz also delivered a presentation demonstrating detailed introduction of University of Lorraine, especially the joint training program for student education. In the discussion session, the two sides primarily engaged in the joint programs of students, and discussed the possible forms of collaboration. At the final stage, Dr. Yangwen Pei and Dr, Kaifei He accompanied Dr. Antoine Le Solleuz and Dr. Long Cheng to visit the Geological Museum of School of Geosciences.
