On October 23, 2018, the delegation of chairperson and Committee on Education & Sports of Uganda Parliament visited School of Geosciences to discuss international cooperation. The members of delegation of Uganda Parliament are Hon. Opolot Jacob, Chairperson of Committee on Education and Sports, Hon. Ongiertho Emmanuel and Hon. Musoke Robert, member of the committee on Education and Sports, Mr. Owilli Geoffrey, principal clerk assistant in parliament of Uganda, Ms. Apolat Esther, senior Legal Counsel in Parliament of Uganda. Dr. Kaifei He, director of International Affairs Office of School of Geosciences, attended the meeting and introduced the key figures of the School of Geosciences. At the final stage, Dr. Kaifei He and Dr, Kelai Xi, accompanied the delegation to visit the laboratory and Geological Museum of School of Geosciences. Dr. Kelai Xi gave a detailed introduction about the laboratory functions and equipment. The visitors from Uganda Parliament gave very high comments on the construction of our Geological Museum.
