Winners of the Teaching contest
The annual conference of Chinese Geological Education was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi province from Oct 26th to 27th. Around 400 specialists and teachers, delegates from 77 universities and colleges had attended this meeting. Eight teachers from our school of Geoscience also attended this meeting, among whom, National master teachers and professor Jiang Youlu was invited as the deputy leader of expert group and committee member of the teaching contest. Professor of Zhang Liqiang made a keynote speech on “Construction and practice of virtual simulation experiment in oilfield geological practice.
There are four keynote speeches in this annual meeting, including 1) Integration of big data and artificial intelligence with geological education; 2)Construction and teaching reform of the first-class geoscience discipline in the new era;3)Improve the practical teaching evaluation system and promote the practical teaching quality. 4) Construct the national sharing platform of virtual simulation experiment teaching.
During the teaching contest, 139 young teachers from 77 universities had an intensive competition. Finally, Dr Xu Jinjun and Song Ying won the first and second prizes for our school of Geoscience.
