On December 9, 2019, Professor Liu Hua and Professor Deng Shaogui, Vice Dean of School of Geoscience held a meeting with Professor Platov Boris, deputy director of School of Geology and Petroleum technology of Federal University of Kazan. Presided by deputy director of international office, both sides presented an introduction on their University, scientific research and international cooperation issues at first. After the friendly discussions on joint postgraduate training, scientific research cooperation and academic exchange projects, two sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention in the joint postgraduate training project, and agreed to have further cooperation on scientific research cooperation and academic exchanges in the future. Mr Yu Jixian, Deputy director of graduate School, Ms Yang Yifan, from International office and Ms Li Gaoqing, from College of International Education also attended this meeting.
Invited by Professor Shao Cairui of well logging department, Professor Boris gave series lectures to our postgraduates with the theme of logging and seismic joint reservoir evaluation technology from December 5th to 10th, 2019. The training course combined theory mode and practice mode with Petrol and Techlog software to train students' practical operation ability, which had a good teaching effect.
