The international student team of UPC, international school won the second prize in the Mountains and Seas competition

     On April 21, the awarding ceremony of the 4th Mountains and Seas-My Story of Studying in Qingdao competition co-sponsored by Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Education and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government was held. International students from various colleges and universities in Qinghai and schools for children of foreign personnel participated in the competition. The international student team of our school performed outstandingly, and its entry Left Fingering the Moon won the second prize.

     In the competition, the international students of our school showed the charm of traditional Chinese culture in an elegant and gorgeous form, fully demonstrated their strong dance creation strength, high performance skills and cultural and artistic accomplishment, and received full recognition and praise. Polina from Russia said: I love Chinese folk dance, and I integrate this love into the dance I choreograph, hoping to show the beauty of Chinese folk dance on stage.

     At the award ceremony, Lan Bao from Russia shared her experience and feelings of studying abroad, and affectionately described her study and growth in our school, and expressed her love for Chinese culture and deep friendship with Chinese teachers and students. At the same time, she thanked the beautiful environment and warm atmosphere that Qingdao offers.

     The competition further promoted cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, and enhanced international students' understanding and love for Qingdao. Our school will continue to actively carry out multi-channel, wide-ranging, high-level cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries in combination with the development plans of the Qingdao “Belt and Road” International Cooperation Zone and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Economic Demonstration Zone, so as to spread the voice of China and tell Chinese stories well. Continuously expand the influence and attractiveness of the school's international education.
