In School of Geosciences, a geological museum has been constructed and open to students since 2016. The museum is located in 3rd floor in Engineering Building C. In the corridor next to the entrance, you'll see Top-Class Exhibitions of different classifications of minerals, rocks and fossils. In addition, there are also five halls to exhibit Crystallography & Mineralogy, Sedimentary Rocks, Structural Geology, Igneous Rocks and Metamorphic Rocks. This museum is open to not only students and staffs in this university, but also available for public community by reservation, particularly students from junior or middle schools. A professional guidence will be provided for free.
Apart from exhibitions, the museum also provide spaces for academic communications. Therefore, activities such as scientific seminars, short courses and workshops can be organized in one of the exhibition halls. The information of latest activities will be updated in the homepage of this website.
Here we are planning to transfer the physical exhibitions to internet for people who are interested in observing this museum.
