From May 25 to 26th，Seventh National Petroleum Geology Competition was held in UPC, 400 students from more than 20 universities, such as China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), China University of Petroleum(Beijing), Northwestern University, competed intensively in the final contest.
The competition finally granted 18 special awards, 60 first prizes, 55 second prizes, and 41 third prizes for undergraduate and graduate students. Besides that, 4 excellent exhibition boards for graduate academic forums, 18 excellent papers, and 12 awards in knowledge competitions, 11 excellent organizational units and 79 excellent teachers were also rewarded.
