Professor Zhang Liqiang and chairman Fok Chun-wan in the awarding ceremony
On December 26th, 2024, the 19th Higher Education youth scientific and teaching Award of Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation was held in Nanjing. Professor Zhang Liqiang from School of Geosciences won the second teaching award. Selected nation widely, a total of 165 outstanding teachers have won awards in this year.
The Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation was established in 1986 by the former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a well-known Hong Kong industrialist Mr Fok Ying Tung. The Fok Ying Tung Education Fund aims to encourage teachers in Chinese universities and colleges to achieve outstanding results.
